Now that your summer program is set and about to take off, it’s time to turn your attention to the fall. Families are researching programs and will soon be making plans for August and September, especially parents of preschoolers who are focused on getting their little ones ready for kindergarten.
So, now is the time to start reviewing your program and marketing tactics. Here are a few tips to help build those inquiries, convert them to enrollments and provide the best program possible:
Have a roadmap. Outline your marketing tactics and budget, and make sure your messages and offers are consistent for the next few months. The consistency will help your brand name resonate with consumers.
Showcase your extras. Highlight the added benefits you offer during parent tours, such as ABCmouse for Schools. Have a tablet or laptop handy to demo ABCmouse so it’s more than just a description. Make sure your touring families leave knowing exactly what sets you apart. Be sure they can see the value in all the extras you provide.
Recruitment and staffing plans. Your staff is a core part of your program and at the heart of what you do. Now’s a great time to recruit elementary teachers or build a database of resumes. Also ensure that staff retention programs are in place to keep those great staff members.
Meet the needs of Millennial families. Before the craziness of fall arrives, review your program to see if there are any other advantages you can offer. For example, do you have a technology component? Can you add new enrichment programs? How do you communicate with families? What is your social media presence?
